Region 10 Dan Association

All Dan members with current membership in good standing with the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. and residing within the states of Alaska, Oregon, or Washington shall be considered to be members of the Association.

The purpose of this Association shall be:

  1. To support and serve the Korean Soo Bahk Do Association and the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. in furthering the Kwan Jang Nim’s vision.
  2. To promote the growth of the art of Soo Bahk Do in Region 10 by:
    1. Working to further the goals of Mission 2000 and other initiatives that may be advanced by the Federation from time to time.
    2. Exemplifying the Moo Duk Kwan Spirit as an example for the Gup members and through service to the Gup members.
    3. Maintaining a system of governance for Region 10 and a forum for open discussion and equitable representation.
    4. Facilitating communication among the Soo Bahk Do schools in Region 10 by holding periodic Dan meetings and publishing a Region 10 newsletter.
    5. Recruiting new practitioners by promoting a positive image in the community.
    6. Conducting regional activities such as: Dan clinics, tournaments and other events for the good of all Soo Bahk Do practitioners.
    7. Promoting and supporting the participation of Region 10 practitioners in the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation activities and functions.
    8. Undertaking activities to raise funds for the purposes stated above or for  purposes deemed to be in the best interests of the Association.
